A month ago I wrote a letter to Stephen Harper, PM. Today in the mail I received his letter and a personally autographed photo of Mr. Harper. I could not believe my eyes!
The response from the PM's office was quick - I guess they are very efficient :)
Today was a good start to the week after the March break.

March Break Rules!
March break is a good time to have fun. The sun was out and that helped A LOT.
This week was a mixture of fun, friends, games, library and work :) By work I mean actual shippping orders at dad's office.
The start to the break came with shocking news of my friends house being burgled but surprisingly he was good about it. It is important to be safe and positive.
Speaking of positive, check out Emmanuel Kelly on Youtube - he is a 17 year old amazing singer who teaches us the value of life and positive thinking.

Piano Man
I started my piano lessons last week after a long break. My favourite song is "Cracker Jack". The music is fun to sing and play because you get to learn how they had snacks back then.

A Special Medallion
Today at church, I received a special medallion - it is special because it will keep me safe and guide me to do the right things.
You do not need a medallion to do the right thing - you need a heart and a thinking mind; more commonly know as a brain. So with or without a medallion, do the RIGHT THING!

Books, books and reading books
I am on the fifth book in the Harry Potter series "Order of the Phoenix" and I am also reading Famous Five "Five Have Plenty of Fun". Both books present mysteries but in different ways - very different ways.
Famous Five solves mysteries by looking out for clues but Harry Potter and his friends use MAGIC!
Both books are great! Must read!

Germo...
My uncle and his family are going skiing... we have been asked to look after Germo! Germo is a talking parrot.. wonder if I will be able to teach him to sing "The Lazy Song".
