My eye pod!!!

NO.. not that kind.. I meant the i-Pod...
On Monday, my cousin Sarah, came over and downloaded a few games. One of them was "Jetpack Joyride". Cool game - point of the game is to duck the lasers, you have a jetpack to jump over the lasers that hit the ground.

I also got "Fatify" - having a lot of fun with that - everyone looks so funny!

Hotel Transylvania

Hit the movies on Thanksgiving weekend with my dad and two friends.Hotel Transylvania gets 4.5 star overall.
The end was good but I won't tell why because I don't want to spoil it for you :)

Thanksgiving weekend was full of fun with friends and cousins!

Where have I been?

Sorry for not posting blogs in ages... the last few weeks of summer I read, Oliver Twist and Huckleberry Finn. The books had a nice mystery to it, I would give Oliver Twist a 3.5 star rating and Huckleberry Finn a 2.5

In terms of reading some more great book "Please Sir, can I have some more".

Just Energy

I went to my mum's office last Friday where I had an interview and did work like: ......................filing I learned about how employee files are kept based on  last name ex: Kynan D'silva you'd find him in the"D" files. I met their VP- HR, Richard Early and he invited me to come by anytime.
Ms. Sahar gave me tons of candy which made my day great!
All in all I had  a great time.

Mac's....

Entered a draw last week at Mac's... they called to say I have won something.... ????? :)
Can't wait to find out.

About the Mayor...no news yet ... how busy can she be.... Ottawa was more efficient.

Madagascar 3

Hey: Today was PD day, meaning fun at Philips. We went to watch Madagascar 3 - I wasn't enthusiastic at first; but as the movie played, it wasn't bad at all. I'd give it a 4.5 on 5.

Alex and his gang went to Monte Carlo, they got the run around by the animal control. What happens next - go watch the movie to find out....

May 24 weekend

My 2 friends & I were at Collingwood - it was all about the Scenic caves, the suspension bridge and the mountain coaster.
OMG.... today I gelled my hair like Elvis.... only thing missing was his singing voice :)

I am also busy putting in my resume at the Mayor's office to volunteer 1 day this summer... wish me luck

Mother's Day Weekend

This weekend is Mother's Day. I have got 3 surprises for my mum. Can't tell cause she is typing....
Now can I give you a clue... no.... because my favourtite color is blue! :)

We are going out for dinner to a friends and a BBQ tomorrow at our place. It is going to be a fiesta! La la lal la la....

Cadets & I

Two weekends I received my First Holy Communion and last week was the party! Both - the presence (of family n friends) and the presents were great :)
Lots been happening while I haven't been active on the blog... such as... this past Wednesday was the finale of cadets - where we got to shop till we drop. My head counsellor, Andy, let us play manhunt  and then was the best moment - SHOPPING! I got a lip whistle, ring pop, skittles (all gone before I got home), mentos (same story as skittles), notepad, a pen and lots more.....

This year our theme at cadets was to "prepare yourself". Keep your eyes on the ball and stay ahead of the game. I encourage young boys to take up cadets because it is fun while you learn.

First Holy Communion

This past Sunday, April 15, I received my First Holy Communion. My friend Philip too received his. The bread tasted good although I was afraid it was breaking in my mouth.
My parents, family and friends were there in church which made it awesome.
We spend over an hour clicking pics after mass - can't wait to see them.

Am I feeling holier? Yes (with an impish smile)...

National Geographic Magazine

Today in the mail I got my first National Geographic magazine... there are lots of interesting articles like "Stupid Criminals" and "Weird But True Facts".

The magazine rocks! Can't wait to read through all the pages.

Egypt....

Today at school, my teacher asked me and a few of my friends to work on a project on Egypt. If you know anything interesting about Egypt, please pass it along to me. Starting Thursday I have a week to this project. HELP!!!!

A Special Letter

A month ago I wrote a letter to Stephen Harper, PM. Today in the mail I received his letter and a personally autographed photo of Mr. Harper. I could not believe my eyes!

The response from the PM's office was quick - I guess they are very efficient :)

Today was a good start to the week after the March break.

March Break Rules!

March break is a good time to have fun. The sun was out and that helped A LOT.
This week was a mixture of fun, friends, games, library and work :) By work I mean actual shippping orders at dad's office.

The start to the break came with shocking news of my friends house being burgled but surprisingly he was good about it. It is important to be safe and positive.

Speaking of positive, check out Emmanuel Kelly on Youtube - he is a 17 year old amazing singer who teaches us the value of life and positive thinking.

Piano Man

I started my piano lessons last week after a long break. My favourite song is "Cracker Jack". The music is fun to sing and play because you get to learn how they had snacks back then.

A Special Medallion

Today at church, I received a special medallion - it is special because it will keep me safe and guide me to do the right things.
You do not need a medallion to do the right thing - you need a heart and a thinking mind; more commonly know as a brain. So with or without a medallion, do the RIGHT THING!

Books, books and reading books

I am on the fifth book in the Harry Potter series "Order of the Phoenix" and I am also reading Famous Five "Five Have Plenty of Fun". Both books present mysteries but in different ways - very different ways.
Famous Five solves mysteries by looking out for clues but Harry Potter and his friends use MAGIC!

Both books are great! Must read!

Germo...

My uncle and his family are going skiing... we have been asked to look after Germo! Germo is a talking parrot.. wonder if I will be able to teach him to sing "The Lazy Song".

The sleepover

Kynan and I read Harry Potter books and Percy Jackson, played Xbox.... it is a good start to the long weekend....

Angry Birds

Today mum and I played Angry Birds on the ipod...we unlocked 7 levels in 45 minutes....we unlocked egg man, bomb bird...

Are angry birds now happy birds????

Being Sick Sucks

Mum: DJ, what do you want for breakfast?
DJ: Nothing
Mum: Well you are getting turmeric in milk!

I HATE TURMERIC IN MILK & I especially hate it when mum poured it over my toast! Yucky!

Moral of the story: Eat it up, live with it, suck it up, cause thats what you get when you are sick!

DJ to mum: "Why is there alcohol in the doctors office"
Mum: "Use to sanitise surrounding and kill germs. It keeps us healthy"
